Drinko ("the app") is developed by Filippo Cilia. This page explains what happens to your data when you use the app. The short version: there is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no server operated by us. Everything you add to the app stays on your device or in your own iCloud account.
We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any personal data. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind. The recipes, lessons and reference content are bundled inside the app, so browsing them never contacts a server.
The app keeps a small amount of data locally so it can work the way you left it:
All of this is stored in the app's own container. Deleting the app deletes it.
Your Cabinet and your custom cocktails can sync between your devices through iCloud, using Apple's CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud database, which only you can access with your Apple Account. We cannot read it, and it is governed by Apple's privacy policy. Turning off iCloud Drive for Drinko in your device settings stops syncing.
The Cocktail of the Day widget reads your favourites from the app's shared container on your device so it can show them. It does not send anything anywhere.
If you use the "Contact" options in Settings to report a bug or request a feature, the app opens an email draft in your mail app. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it, and anything you include is used only to reply to you. If you ask to rate the app, Apple's standard review prompt appears and is handled entirely by Apple.
Drinko is about alcoholic drinks and is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children, and, as described above, we do not collect information from anyone.
If the app ever starts handling data differently, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
