Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

Iterly ("the app") is developed by Filippo Cilia. This page explains what happens to your data when you use the app. The short version: there is no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no server operated by us that receives your projects or tasks. Everything you put into Iterly stays on your device.

Data we collect

We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any personal data. The app contains no analytics, advertising network SDKs, or tracking software of any kind.

Data stored on your device

The app keeps its data in a container on your device that is shared only with its own Home Screen widgets. That includes:

  • Your projects, releases, tasks and subtasks, with their status, priority, due dates, notes and details.
  • Brainstorm notes attached to a project.
  • Photos and videos you choose to attach to a task. These are copied into the app's own storage. The app only receives the items you pick and never browses your photo library.
  • Links you add to a release, such as GitHub, TestFlight or Figma URLs, and any custom link labels you create.
  • Activity timestamps, which are used to draw the activity heatmap and calculate your streak.
  • Your preferences, including which projects your widgets show.

Deleting a project or task removes it from the app. Erase All Data in Settings removes everything, and so does deleting the app.

App Store version lookup

When you connect a project to its App Store listing, the app asks Apple's public iTunes lookup service for that app's current version and store link. The only thing sent is the App Store ID you entered. The request goes directly to Apple, is subject to Apple's privacy policy, and nothing about you is included. We never see it.

Banner for our other apps

The app shows a small banner promoting other apps by the same developer. To pick which one to show, it downloads a short list of apps from our own public feed. That request contains no personal data and no identifier, and nothing about you is recorded. There are no third-party ad networks. You can remove the banner with a one-time in-app purchase, which is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.

Contact and feedback

If you use the contact options in Settings to report a bug or request a feature, the app opens an email draft in your mail app. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it, and anything you include is used only to reply to you. If you ask to rate the app, Apple's standard review prompt appears and is handled entirely by Apple.

Children

We do not knowingly collect any information from children, and, as described above, we do not collect information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever starts handling data differently, for example by adding iCloud sync, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
